Weddings

What better place to be married than Maine? Make sure you document it beautifully and accurately by hiring Debra Bell (that’s me) and my team at Bell Imaging & Design. Located in Hermon, Maine, I’ve been honored to help couples document their Big Day for over 6 years.

There are so many photographers available to help you with your Maine wedding photography.

Many people take advantage of saving a few dollars by using friends, family, and less expensive photographers to document the Big Day. But they forget that when the wedding is over, the cake is eaten, and the gifts are opened there are four things that remain with you: your rings, your marriage, your wedding video, and your wedding photographs.

That’s why it’s so important to leave this task to a professional. This person will be responsible for ensuring that each part of your wedding is documented. Did you know that there are seven parts to your wedding: preparation, ceremony, post-ceremony, group photos, bride and groom portraits, details, and the reception. The person responsible for documenting these parts of your day will be part cheerleader, part confidant, part wedding coordinator, part director, and part observer.

Wedding photography is more than just snapping pictures. Your Maine wedding photography will create memories you’ll cherish for years.

When I got married in 2002, I remember how important it was for me to find a photographer who would do a good job while also allowing my family and friends to have a good time and relax at the wedding. My wedding was the impetus for my start in wedding photography. I didn’t have a huge budget, so I understand where budget-conscious brides are coming from.

But your Maine wedding photography is an investment. And you deserve to get quality for your investment. All of my wedding packages include a proof book of 4x6 images, a DVD of images with a reprint release, my experience and artistry, an online gallery, and the skills of my associate photographer Jesse Schwarcz. Additional items such as albums, ornaments, note cards, are also available to showcase your wedding photos.

Your return on investment also comes from quality customer service and a well-formed network of wedding professionals. Having done almost 50 weddings in 6 years, I’ve worked in many environments with lots of different wedding vendors. I’m happy to make referrals to other wedding vendors to make your wedding truly special.

When interviewing potential photographers, also ask to look at a photographer’s full wedding coverage for one or more weddings. Ask for references, especially for past couples. And always be willing to discuss your needs, budget. While I don’t haggle with clients, I do work with them to develop a custom package to fit their needs and budgets.

Your Maine wedding photography is important. Your wedding is important. So you deserve the very best when it comes to turning every moment into a memory.
