Class of 2013: It’s your year to SHINE

Do you spend your day in a studio, surrounded by traditional lighting set ups, or do you spend it outside at cool locations?

The majority of my seniors choose outdoor shoots at local scenic locations. Many seniors choose to bring a friend, pet, favorite hobby, and several clothing changes with them to the session. Sometimes we even go to multiple locations.

In 2010, the majority of my seniors came to my outdoor studio location in Hermon. Located on the Coldbrook Road, my outdoor studio consists of a field, wooden fence, wooded paths, and the snowmobile club bridge over Cold Brook. Other popular scenic senior portrait locations include downtown Bangor (for urban, fun photos), Cascade Park, and the Kenduskeag Trail. Parents are welcome to come along.

Most senior portrait sessions are between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours, depending on location and how much fun we’re having! A typical senior session will yield between 25 and 75 proofs, all of which are viewable online. You’ll receive a portrait credit based upon the reprint package that comes with your session. Any session reprint package can be upgraded upon request. You’ll also be able to purchase additional prints online from the proofing site.

In 2011, Bell Imaging & Design went green with proofing. A proof book used to be offered as part of each senior portrait package, but in the interest of helping reduce our impact on the environment, proofing is now done online or in person.

Package 1: “Starlight” - 250.00

Just right for the senior who doesn’t need more than a yearbook photo and some gift prints.

  • Yearbook photo delivered to your high school
  • One Location
  • $50 print or product credit

 

Package 2: “Big Dipper” - $450.00

This session is right for the senior who wants to show off their talents while also looking and feeling great! Big Dipper is for seniors who truly know what they want and aren’t afraid to go for it.
Session includes:
  • Yearbook photo delivered to your high school
  • Up to 2 locations within 15 miles of Bangor
  • $75 print or product credit
  • 1 8x12 unit (1 8x10, 2 5x7s, 4 4x6s, or 1 set of wallets)
  • 25 custom printed announcements

 

Package 3: “Shooting Star” - $650.00

This session is for the senior star in your life that wants it all. This is the ultimate experience package. Your senior will feel like a star when she’s done.
Session includes:
  • Yearbook photo delivered to your high school
  • Up to 2 locations within 15 miles of Bangor
  • $100 print or product credit
  • 2 8x12 units (1 8x10, 2 5x7s, 4 4x6s, or 1 set of wallets)
  • 25 custom printed announcements (a $75 value)
  • Signature album (a $150 value)
  • Hair and Makeup credit

 

Package 4: “Orion’s Belt” - For up to three buddies - $750.00

Get your buddies together and let’s have some fun! This is an excellent way to get your senior portraits done while also creating a memory with your friends.
Session includes:
  • Yearbook photo(s) delivered to your high school
  • One location.
  • $50 print or product credit per “buddy”
  • 3 Signature albums (valued at $150 each)

 

NEW in 2012!

Bell Imaging & Design is thrilled to offer hair and makeup credits for senior portrait (or any portrait) clients. Bell Imaging & Design has teamed up with Anthony John’s Day Spa on Stillwater Avenue in Bangor to provide this unique opportunity to get the “best” look for your senior portraits.

What’s that mean?

As a senior portrait client, I know that you want to look and feel your best. I know how daunting it can be to try and get your hair the way you want it and your makeup accenting your natural beauty. That’s why I am thrilled to offer this option for you.

When you book your session with Bell Imaging & Design and indicate that you want hair and makeup, you’ll receive a voucher to take to Anthony John’s Day Spa. I will let the salon know that you’ll be calling to make your appointment FOR THE SAME DAY as your session. We’ll discuss your needs, the place and timing of your portrait session, and you’ll be responsible for setting the appointment. Please allow 2.5 hours prior to your session (excluding travel time) to have the best hair/makeup experience possible.

For example, if your senior portrait photography session is set for 5 p.m., you’ll want to make sure your hair and makeup appointment is scheduled for around 2 p.m.

The details

The voucher is good only for basic shampoo and style as well as a basic makeup application. If you’d like more than the basics, the balance will be up to you to pay.

The voucher will be considered void if you cancel your appointment with Bell Imaging & Design. The voucher is non-transferable unless prior arrangements were made with Debra Bell. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.

“Hair and makeup” can be added to any session for $60.

Extras and add-ons
Signature album - $150 per album

This 10-page, press-printed, hardcover album is press-printed and contains the photos from your session with plenty of space to include signatures from your friends. Think of it as your personal yearbook.

Hair and Makeup - $60 per person

Look and feel as beautiful or handsome as you truly are.
At the time of booking Bell Imaging & Design, you’ll receive a voucher for a basic shampoo and style with makeup application at Anthony John’s Day Spa.

Custom designed announcements - $75 per set of 25
